Our Mission

Provide a training center where emphasis is about setting goals, learning a strong
work ethic and hitting a high number of balls under adult supervision. Everyone has the
potential to achieve set goals. While Hank and Sharon Avants understand the
dynamics of tennis at the highest levels, they strive to maintain a sensitivity to players
at all levels.

They enjoy consistently building the next generation of tennis players. Their
knowledge of tennis technique and strategy are taught in a controlled and loving
atmosphere. There is discipline and a no nonsense approach to ethics, etiquette and
focus.

Our other Professional, Shirley Carr has their her own style and works hand in hand with the High Performance Program at all levels.

Location
Founded in the foothills of North Carolina, RCC is located 19 miles South of Charlotte
and forty-five minutes North of Spartanburg, S.C. Just 6.3 miles off of Interstate 85,
Exit 22. Eight courts are nestled among beautiful evergreens and hardwood trees that
offer a quiet and lovely setting. Only 20 minutes from Lake Wylie and Clover, S.C.
